I think there is not one Supergun without any issues.
They all have some problems depending on game and setup.
If you just want to play on regular CRT TV or OSSC go for the HAS, should be the safest way!
Stay away from ultra cheap or home build stuff, in the end you pay with damaged equipment or wasted time.

Axun is by far the nicest one I've used, but that one is not readily available afaik (there's a list or something?).

I think by "home build" they mean more like project boxes that have a psu and a jrok encoder stuffed inside. Used to be the norm pre-has/pre-minigun if you weren't down to import like a sigma control box supergun, but nowadays miniguns probably outnumber those old alternatives as far as what's out in the wild
