What gdrom dimm firmware version is compatible with chihiro and triforce?

A few years ago I bought a working gdrom drive and was surprised when it also came with a normal dimm considering how little I paid. I didn't need it and it got put up. I remember I had it and dug it out today to test a new to me copy of virtual cop 3.it has a 1.x firmware on it. I keep getting error 22.ive reseated it and put weight on it(I don't have the right screws for a dimm/chihiro. They're different from Naomi)It works fine in a Naomi.
Is the firmware version my issue?
And for future reference what firmware version is needed if a person was to install this in a triforce?

Triforce/Chihiro support doesn't exists in yours DIMM version 1.01, it was added in versions 3.xx
idk if there also might be hardware issues. for sure DIMMs 1.xx converted to later versions works fine with Naomi, but IDK if it's true for Triforce/Chihiro too
