Caught this on YAJ... never seen it before

the text on it seems to read "VIDEO BD FOR ST-V" and it looks like composite and S-Video (maybe?) connectors on the side. It was bundled with Othello.

Speaking of weird daughter boards I also came across this image without any context other than being identified as an ST-V:
STV_unit.jpg

it does indeed seem to be an STV unit in there but there's a whole lot of other stuff going on with it too.

Has anyone ever seen the original 4-game selector board? From what I understand it was never released publicly but it must have come close since it's referenced in most of the official ST-V manuals including the English language ones and the system menu also has all the options for switching games.

The video bd board is used with Print Club if I remember correctly, has the camera input and also the output for the printer and such.

The other board , I have no idea.

That second one looks like a devkit to me. They probably would've had a dedicated ST-V devkit instead of using a hacked-up Saturn kit. No proof, just gut feeling.

Yeah the second pic looks like a dev board with 4 Flash SiMM slots on top

I have this in my collection
