What program to burn IMG to HDD

So i had a gundam vs gundam next HD gone bad (non stop clicking), so i opted to download the hd image from the repository, but am struggling to find a program that can burn that image back to a mechanical drive. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

What format is the drive image in? I typically recommend the "HDD Raw Copy Tool".

If it's a .chd, you can extract it with chdman.exe:

chdman.exe extracthd -i hdd_image.chd -o hdd_image.img

Then you can use HDD Raw Copy Tool on the image.

You can buy a 40-pin IDE connector that is split into two, plug the IDE DVD drive into one side and the IDE HDD into the other side. This way your 256-bit machine will be compatible with both DVDs and HDDs, and it will also work if you switch to 246C.
