OK, so I got this Slap Fight I'm trying to trade and I have no idea if it is legit or bootleg. So a legit SF came in two flavors, a non-JAMMA green PCB with labeled EPROMs and a silk screened code on the top PCB, and a blue JAMMA PCB with similar markings. I'm also posting a picture of a bootleg SF with a very different sound area EPROM stickers that suck, and overall cheaper looking parts.

Now look at my PCB. It is non-JAMMA, missing the code on the PCB top and instead of EPROMs I have mask ROMs. WTH? Would a bootleg have mask ROMs? There is a code on the bottom PCB that matches the code on the JAMMA legit PCB.

I'm confused, what do I have here and what is a fair value for what I have?

pencil markings and those little circle stickers on ROMs are typically indicative of a bootleg. It does seem to be decently constructed for a bootleg though.

My Personal PCB set is the blue-board/ official JAMMA

Thanks, I'm guessing so too, but was hoping it wasn't! I guess I'll need to figure out value and sell it off, I don't have an adapter for it and I don't really keep bootlegs!

if a bootleg is an exact copy but without the protection chip then keep it.
it's going to play the same but be more repairable.

Thanks, but it's not JAMMA, so not one I want to mess with.

Any ideas on value for trade/sale?

the best games are mostly pre-jamma though!!!
or they are jamma - but with extra controls.

well i'm a big konami fan,
luckily they seemed to have their own "standard" sort of - so one adapter fits lots of games.

Fair enough, I have enough weirdo games that I do agree with you, but this one, man, I just don't want to deal with it!

Any idea what a fair price for it is?

no idea.
it's a nice clean boardset though.

all mine originally looked like they where found by laura croft!!!
