I've recently bought 2 x Naomi 2 setups and 1 of them has arrived with a questionable heatsink/fan setup.

All 3 heatsinks have been hot glued in the corners and minimal thermal paste used... and 2 of the heatsinks had popped off during transit to me ?(

There doesn't appear to be any damage to the board or heatsinks, so ideally I can just stick them back on and test if the setup works (if not, ill send it back).

Is anyone aware of the correct compound/interface material to use for these heatsinks?

Thanks!

Have you tested the mobo? I thought heatsinks coming loose killed the GPUs

EDIT: Here’s what I was referring to which looks different to what happened to your board. Hopefully it still works. I would recommend a silicone based thermal glue. Thermal past like arctic, etc aren’t glue.

I had the exact same thing happen to my Naomi 2... heatsink and fan fell off in transit. Thankfully it still works and it is a little sticky still so I just kinda put them back but not very secure. Also wondering what would be the best solution to reattach the heatsink and fan unit. Thanks :)
