Hi!

Just want to check this through before i do something monumentally stupid...
I've picked up a SuzoHapp Power Pro to use with RGBs HAS. Its one of these:

The lowest two terminals are labelled AC 115W. Other supplied I have seen have these terminals additionally labelled as Live & Neutral.
Am i safe to assume then that it doesn't matter and that I can connect Live and Neutral to either of these terminals?
Before anyone asks, yes, I will connect FG to earth and I have already switched up to 230v from 115v

Bonus question: Whats the easiest way to simulate a 1Amp load on the 5v line so i can test the output voltage?

Cheers!

Hi,

I'm guessing you are located in the UK. So you are on 230V AC mains. You don't have to connect FG (Frame Ground) but since you are in the UK you can.

For testing you can use a volt(multi)meter to check the voltage levels of the different terminals.

Hi K405,

Cheers for the input. Got things wired up and tested with just the multimeter.
Was reading 5.36v so i turned it down a little to 5.1v Guessed that it wouldn't go higher under load, so tried it at that.
HAS is reading a nice 5.06v so all looks to be well.
