I got this electronic token selector and spent the afternoon trying to test it since it didn't come with a manual.
What I ended up doing was wiring the N.O. and Ground to the quick disconnects that went to the Astro's old microswitch and then, using tape (again, just for testing), I connected the 12v input to the 12 volts on the Jamma edge and also connected the ground to the Jamma edge.
The token selector works this way but I'm wondering if wiring it to the Jamma edge is the best/safest long-term solution. I haven't been able to find information online of people using these electronic token selectors in older cabinets that were not already wired for them.
Is using the Jamma edge the best way to get the 12v? I also don't want to do anything that might damage a board down the line.
