World Heroes Perfect: Gameplay Problems

I just got a World Heroes Perfect for MVS and i have Issues with the gameplay. Rounds end "randomly" after 30 seconds (timers at around 70sec) and most/all projectiles have no Hit Box. I'm running the game on a single slot with a uni bios. Over a dozend other Carts run without issue on that setup. Is there a chance the setup is at fault or can i be "certain" that the Cart is at fault? (any way to make sure without a second motherboard?)

Use the UniBios to run a CRC check on the game's program roms and make sure they're good.

Other than that, I'd suggest trying to clear the backup ram.

It doesn't sound like a motherboard issue to me.

Thanks, clearing the Backup Ram seems to have solved my issues*. Curious how that worked, does the backup ram somehow influence the clock (would have been my total noob gues since rounds ended prematurely and Hitboxes didn't connect)?

*If someone stumbles on this and doesn't already know: Putting all dips to 'on' and powering the board clears the Backup ram

If you boot the game when the cart isn't making a good connection it can be glitchy and bad settings can be saved to the SRAM.

You can also clear the backup RAM by going to the Hardware Test menu.
