I'm newbee in the Arcade world, other than having found memories of them back in the days.

I recently picked up a Konami "Bells & Whistles" PCB and a couple of MVS 2 slot boards (Model numbers: mv2f and a mv2 -01)

I was thinking about buying a HAS as I'v heard good reviews, but as it doesn't seem to be available at the moment, I have been looking at this one:

Would this include "everything" I need for all these 3 boards to function ?.

Also any other tips on what I should pickup at the same time would be appreciated.

I'm looking to use it initially on a tv with scart, and on a Sony PVM.

Multi Slot MVS boards do not conform to the JAMMA standard, you will need to buy a MVS to JAMMA adatper to use those 2-slot boards on JAMMA equipment like a Supergun.

In general you'll have a much better time if you simply buy a Single slot MVS board instead.

you’d need a cable from the supergun to your PVM depending on what the PVM accepts, probably scart to bnc if you use that posted MAK supergun. For using a “tv with scart” I assume you mean crt so that’s probably a different cable, scart to scart.

You’d need speakers unless your pvm has them. Also you’d need an audio cable from supergun to the sound output source.

You’d need some controller that works with analog db15 like neo geo ones. Or some other solution like a usb decoder that plugs into the db15. Undamned usb plus a usb controller.

You need an arcade power supply but that site sells them along with the supergun, and the wiring from the wall to the psu, and the psu to the supergun.

Ditto on the mvs single slot, much easier and pretty cheap.

Last note is people do much prefer HAS over that MAK Strike. IMO it’s worth waiting for. Minigun is a good one too

Any idea about how often the HAS becomes available ?

Thanks for the quick feedback from both :)

btw, is there other options to run these MVS boards without using a jamma supergun ? for use with a scart crt tv ?

A SuperGun the name of a device that lets you use an Arcade board on a TV. As for whether there is a supergun designed specifically for a Multi-Slot MVS board I don't know; I can't say I've ever seen one.
If you're not using a supergun then you're using an arcade cabinet.
