Damn, BW was like $175 3 years ago! TGRS was always a bit more, but talk about a game that jumped up in price! It must have made a YouTube series or something!

Yep, it showed up in a bunch of “hidden gem” videos. Even my non-retro gaming friends were sending me links to it saying “you should play this game!”

Are there any gameplay differences between regions on that game?

Hmm, I think only the title screen, but I read also possibly a few enemy placements. All hearsay from the internet however (other than the title screen of course).

And actually if you want to be pedantic, the US release of Boogie Wings was the last, bug fixed version of the game. If you're running the Japanese rom set, you have an inferior version.
