just missed out on one in the UK for £260.

Anyone got one they don't need/want?

Or would I be better off with an ossc or iscan vp50?

I already have an XRGB2 & XRGB2+.

It's so I can play old consoles & pcb's on my Chinese vewlix.

Everything is mushy and blurry in motion. I'd asked over on Shmups about it to see what settings I should change everything to and I was super surprised to find out that the OSSC just doesn't play nicely with PS2's 480i (or is it 480p it hates?) signal and was advised to just buy something else for it.

So you're either stuck using a modded PS2 and forcing games into 240p by hex editing the ISO files, or buying a different scaler. And the framemeister is known for being among the best for whichever resolution that the OSSC dislikes.

I was especially bummed about it because I'd bought a PSX the same week I bought my OSSC. And actually sold my framemeister to buy the OSSC...

I do love my OSSC. But it makes PS2 look awful in most cases.

Thanks for the info, sound like they are a bad match then :(
Have you tried it with component cables as well, wondering how that would work out?

Depends what you're using it for. The OSSC is absolutely awful for PS2. :(
PS2 RGB looks surprisingly good on a 15khz Wells Gardner K7000 arcade monitor. I'm just saying :)
It really does, your setup looks wonderful. But I want to relive some RPGs on the big screen in the living room.

Yeah, that's too bad man. I wonder if there is anyone out there that runs their PS2 RGB signals through an RGB amp (THS7316) w/LPF turned on to the OSSC? w/LPF turned off? Or vice or versa, keeping only one LPF on in the chain.

I'd give that a whirl if you haven't. Cheap possible fix. Shame to have to invest again.

the panel I have has VGA, DVI & HDMI inputs. So I could use the XRGB2 with Scanline for 15khz pcb's on it to the VGA or with a 2+ or 3 use the DVI. but I'm worried the panel would try to upscale the image that's why I was thinking a vp50 or framemeister would do a better job. Especially when hooking up my 8/16 bit consoles.
