You can solder the 5v to cn6 next to the analog connector. Pin 1/2 is 5vdc. Pin 5/6 is ground. Pin 3/4 is 12vdc you won't need if you are just using the io for analog Monkeyball
Perfect, thanks.

You don’t need a jamma extension - just the USB cable between I/O and Naomi.
Right, it's just one option to power the Sega IO.

I think since just the USB isn't sufficient, I'll just run the wires from the stick and start button outside the cab to the Sega IO in with the Naomi. I'd put the panel on a couple of benches right in front of the cab anyway, so the 3' and 5' should be long enough. That way I could also use the panel with a Capcom IO on a supergun. Will the controls work properly if the standard buttons and joysticks are still connected in the Blast and I power the Sega IO through Jamma? It's all passive so I don't see why not..

I don't see an issue with that

Just a little update.

Our schedule finally aligned and we got a small batch going, but not finish. I have the metal CP ordered and made. I'm getting a new CPO and will sending it over to Alberto for production. I will be posting pictures once done and you will have a choice between what is already out there or the new one. The finish will be matte kind of like the AC/BC We like it better then his gloss for this panel. If you want gloss like he use to do, let me now when I confirm your order.

Looking great. Do you have a photo to show the matte vs gloss?

Is it like gloss vs polycarb coated vinyl you get on a CPO decal? If you guys like the matte better I'll take your word for it. I'm a fan of the polycarb overlays myself.

Is there a wait if we just need the wiring harness? In my previous tests, I don’t think I had CN1 hooked up from the analog amp board to the analog connector on the I/O and I wasn’t getting responsive results.

I make those in house. Just dm your order and address and I'll make a set

Thanks Xed. I was able to make one using a spare RA analog connector. I will need an extra banana at some point so I will get on the preorder list in the future.

Sorry if covered before, but this is a gigantic thread...

Has anyone bought brand new pots you're happy with? I searched Google for days for part number RA25Y 20F but could not find. So I went with RV24Y 20F which is basically the carbon film version. They "work", but the movement is very "stuttery" until you reach full lock, then it's stable. It works but not really acceptable. BTW, this is for my original equipment, not the repro.
