Has anyone tried this outside of a cab? I have my Naomi2 connected to my projector and when i netboot this version the video does funny stuff like stretching the whole display to either the left or the right or duplicating the image. It's the only game where this happens.

Your unit should be almost ready for netboot, you just need to change jumper setting on the netdimm plus set an ip address for it. I would recommend the WiPi Netbooter solution on a Raspberry Pi for netbooting. I have the same setup and can netboot HotD3, Ghost Squad and Virtua Cop 3.

At least you can get a naomi netboot setup and play Hotd2, Confidential Mission, Death Crimson Ok, Lupin and Maze of the kings with the jvs setup.

You are correct I just tried Guncon3 and it worked great with the OpenJVS hat.

Just tested Guncon3 support (At least for 1 player) and it worked great. Full run of HOTD2 on Naomi and had no problems. I used drivers form: https://github.com/lymandev/guncon3 And the next Device Map which I think can be improved: BTN_WEST CONTROLLER_BUTTON_TEST BTN_EAST...

HOTD1 guns are not compatible with Naomi Games. From Naomi to the newest generation of gun games they use a Sega Type II IR setup. I think you could also use the OpenJVS solution with Aimtrack or Gun4IR guns but I have not tested that yet. I think the cheapest option to play in original hardware...

As far as i remember, GS Evo sound is sourced from the integrated sound card, i think it’s the green connector labeled as Front.

Perfect, will see if i can work something out when i get my hat. I know Sinden has raspberry pi drivers and there are some linux gcon3 drivers floating around but i think they are not fully functional.
