My Big red cabinet has a LCD screen outputting via upscaler. I would like to change it out to a CRT monitor for a more authentic feel. A 25 inch monitor is difficult to find locally. Is there any consumer model TV that would be useful as an alternative? I heard a 24 inch might work but should ask and confirm here.
Pictured is the board used to upscale with VGA out and the LCD monitor i would like changed out.

Do you still have the original monitor frame? If yes, buy a refurbished 25" K7000 series chassis on KLOV, then look on CL or FBM for a 25" TV to swap the tube in. Zenith or Sharp are usually good candidates, and the yoke values are usually close enough. Stay away from Sony or anything with a flat tube. There's plenty of tube swap videos on YT to guide you. Good luck.
