Basically my cps2 has weak sound capacitors and I was wondering if I could use my Fiio DAC amp to make up for that weak sound. I use a HAS Supergun in addition to an OSSC. This is strictly supergun play and I have no cabinet options.

It should work without issues. I use a portable headphone amp to play sound out of my arcade games anyway.
On second thought, I don’t want to use my Fiio dac, since those are for my AKG headphones. I’m just looking for an affordable option that’s not going to break the bank since all I want to do is boost the weak sound of my CPS2 A Board.

It’s like what I do already with the capcom IO for Naomi, Arcade mobo to amp to OSSC.
Except this would take the place of the Capcom IO when it comes to the CPS2.
