Can't Close the Top - Cable to LCD hits top

So, I removed the leg like I was supposed to, but I can see the cable connected to the board that goes to the LCD clearly hitting the top before I can close it. I don't want to force it, but is my case a bit smaller or has anyone else run into this?

Do you have the normal cable or long cable?

I think it is the normal one. It is about 18" so it seems likely.

If you look at the connector plugged into your multi you will see the ribbon cable is folded back over the connector and held down with a plastic clip. This clip is not necessary and is what is interfering with the case. You can just snap the clip off and it will fit.

While I was waiting, I tried just that. It looks snug, but it seems to close now. Thanks!

It's a snug fit, that's normal
