CPS2/CPS3 Digital AV Interface - Helper PCB

Is RGB pass-through required by the AV mod? I was under the impression the video / audio stuff was tapped elsewhere on the CPS2 A board?
 
Sorry maybe I'm confused, but for me I'd love the ability to use something like this board to use an ATX PSU to power the CPS2 but I won't necessarily need the HDMI output.
 
So you want a full fledged supergun then? One that handles power, video, audio and inputs etc.

That's not really the purpose of this particular PCB.
 
HAS, Sentinel and Parsec are 3 options that are available on this forum.

Smallcab is another one that looks good.

I wouldn't recommend the Retroelektronic, Vogatek, Windy Gaming or Mak-Strike superguns.
 
So videogameperfection going to be selling the pcb with the cps2 digital av interface?
 
I just got a CPS2AV (HDMI) Kit from VGP. How can I get this board made? Does it really simplify installation of the HDMI kit? I assume the kit connects/solders to this board instead?
 
This serves a different purpose. Think of it as a supergun minus video and audio. Its purpose is to allow a connection of power and inputs to the CPS2 A board.

It doesn't directly relate to the install process of the HDMI kit.
