I wonder if that was the hold up? Everyone else I know has sent theirs to Japan and it's always been really quick.

Tool me quite a while when sending to Japan, but a lot of that was customs being asshole. The servicing itself was fine

I also experienced the white screen on a 2020 year manufactured motherboard and the service team had the system back to me within 10 days. You can have your game versions updated at the same time if there are any new features available.
 
Day 8 and still no reply after sending in my serials at their request. I'll keep everyone updated =)
 
i've heard mixed feelings about their US support, but i've never had any problems with their Japan support, they were always quick and very helpful
