Fast and Furious Drift Conversion Cabinet NO SOUND

Hello all,

I have a Fast and Furious Drift conversion cabinet. I recently just got it booted up with a new Dell optiplex 740 off of ebay. It is running version 1.10k and is running the game well. It has no sound coming from the speakers. I tested the speakers by plugging my computer into the six port on the IO board and the speakers work. I check the game settings for the volume and turning up the volume didn’t change anything.

Any tips? What should I check next? I’m just lost as to how to remedy this. I can provide more information upon request and will be actively watching this thread.

Sounds like sound (!) board drivers issues. You’ll need to find the proper drivers for your pc model/for the os of the game.

You’ll have to exit the game to windows, unlock the « read only » OS mode if i remember correctly, install and test the drivers ,and relock it.

Sounds like a huge PITA. Just reinstall the game with the restore discs.

Do not use a separate sound card, the onboard audio works fine.

Pretty sure it's because 1.10k doesn't actually support the 740. Use the 1.26k discs.
