Hi Guys,

Recently dropped in my Sega Blast City chassis for repairs at my local arcade repair shop - he mentioned the existing flyback was finished on the MS2930 board.

I found an ebay seller located in Spain that is selling aftermarket flybacks for the 2930.

Does anyone have experience in dealing with this seller / aftermarket flybacks in general?

Would it be worth purchasing and trying out? Or is it better to just find a new non nanao tube/chassis replacement?

I have used one of those flyback. I don't have a lot of hours on it, but it did worked well so far. It needs a voltage pot to be adjusted as initially your image will appear too large. The seller was helpful and chatted with me.

I'm using one of those. It's nice in that it works, first time every time. I feel like the focus is worse at the edges than the original.
