Can someone id this connector so i can order some? i need to make a usb cable.

Looks like a JST - XH connector to me, but the latch isn’t quite right. There are lots of 3rd parties that make clones, I think that socket might be a compatible clone.

If it is XH and if you do order pins to crimp your own be aware that many crimping tools claim to crimp XH pins, but in fact do not

Hmmm, not XH, RF is the dual row equivalent. But the latch isn’t quite right on RF either…
