Hotd 2 black screen

Just bought a working hotd2 mobo.
But when starting both fans work and both led works.
But only a black screen?
Naomi 1 works perfecly.
Using a tmok cabinet.

Make sure your DS1 is set to VGA.

And, hook up a computer monitor.

See if you get a boot screen or test menu.

So how do i check ds1 is to vga?
All 4 dip switches are off just like my naomi 1 have.

DS1 down is VGA.

Next re-seat your HOTD2 cart. And, use a multi meter and make sure your +5v line is at 5v.

After that, you need to mess with the bios.

Either try a regular (non-HOTD2) bios chip and cart on the mobo.

Or, re-burn the HOTD2 bios chip, and try that on the board with the HOTD2 cart.

I mean does it play in 31lhz?

Cannot be 15or 24 kHz?

Naomi plays in 15k and 31k. Not 24k.

Looks best in 31k though.

I mean if it was working and I bought as working it should just be to plug it in.
There should not be any different from pluggning another naomi 1 or 2.

It was a broken mobo.
Up and running with a donor mobo
