hi all, I have a naomi 1 board which ram test show everything ok, but when I plug a cart (in this case virtua tennis 1), board stucks in Loading Virtua Tennis (31k).

I have tested 2 carts with the same result. This board was very dirty but now its cleaned. I dont see any corrosion, bad traces or something similar. Fan spins well so I dont know what is the problem with this board.

I have tested too a multibios, no change.

If anyone can help me...

Many thanks in advance.

What does the screen show while game is "stuck"?
Can you still access set setup screen while the game is "stuck"?

Hi,

I have tested only virtua tennis and virtua striker 2 carts. Virtua striker shows Black screen and virtua tennis shows loading virtua tennis 31k.

Both games tested in other working board and they work fine.

I can enter game settings when is loading the game, but doesnt continue, only stuck in loading game.

There are some caps with something white that I don't know what it is. These capacitors are not shorted, so I can consider them to be fine. What do you think?

Hay unas gorras con algo blanco que no sé qué es. Estos condensadores no están en cortocircuito, por lo que puedo considerar que están bien. ¿Qué opinas? Tengo que naomi 1 que no funciona con una gorra.
They don't look great, but also, it is more important to check and adjust the 5v and 3.3v from the supply than to change it for another supply.

i have 4.97v in 5v line, 12v in 12v line and 3.24 in 3.3v line.

Without a cart inserted.

I would pump your 5v to 5.05v and see if that helps. I assume you are measuring at the power supply.

That board looks like it got some rust, any water/moisture damage? You might need to raise your 5v & 3.3v lines a little. Also check if your bios is compatible/good.

Tested stock bios and multibios, same result.

This board arrived from a city with many humedity.

Se ha comprobado la tensión en los condensadores, no en la entrada de alimentación.

I am testing with an atx power supply Bronze.

14 capacitors replaced and nothing changed.

Only having those few pictures - there seems to be significant rust damage to the board - there could be continuity issues all over the place. Not sure how bad the damage is, but it could be very difficult to track down and resolve.

Chek now. But there isnt corrosion in the board, only flux i have used.
