Is it possible to prevent switching games on a Darksofted CPS3?

There's a Versus City in a record store nearby that runs Third Strike. Someone keeps switching it over to Second Impact. I'm not sure if it's a troll or just some guy who really likes Second Impact. I know the guy who owns the cab so I figured I'd ask here if there was a solution.

I must be missing something. Anyone with access to the dips can change the game, so the question is just whether the cab is locked or not, no?

I'm not totally familiar with how it works but I believe holding a button combination on the P1 side at boot allows you to switch games. I haven't done it but I watched it get switched back to Third Strike one time.

With a Superbios cart you can hold 1p start while turning on the cab to flash a new game.

I'm kind of surprised someone is going to the trouble of doing that.

More likely the cab is running a Pandoras Box and they’re getting in the menu and changing the game.

Nah I'm 100% sure it's a real CPS3 with Darksoft. nem is right, holding P1 start at boot brings up the menu.
