Missing SMD component on MV1A board

I bought this MV1A board off aliexpress and made a supergun. Works fine but on inspecting the underside of the board there is a missing component labelled D5, near the Jamma edge.
Does anyone know what the purpose of this smd is for and if its recommended to replace it? It looks almost like a tantalum capacitor

It's a Diode connected between the coin counter and 12V line if I am not mistaken, protection?

Ah, hope that is the case cos i'm doing the 5v mod and that can just get chinned off if not required.
Plus got stereo pcm mod to do over weekend.
