order is open?
I just opened the new website - everything in stock :) I haven't actually tried PayPal yet, but everything else should be OK.

Edit: got the first order in, THANKS!, so looks like PayPal is working and it's back to business-as-usual!

Consolidated and updated recommendations https://irkenlabs.com/jammafier/cabinet-recommendations/

My retrotink 5x has been in a box for a while, but gave it a spin yesterday with updated firmware - which seem to have improved things quite a bit. With the right scart cable, the setup is now pretty easy and straightforward. For <2.0 Jammafiers, you can achieve exactly the same with a tri-sync-helper.

I only tried a couple of PCB's with the 5X, anyone else got experiences with the jammafier and 5x on the latest firmware?

If you considered getting a Jammafier and happen to live in the US, now is a great time as the NOK/USD conversion rate is historically favorable. Sucks for everyone else buying stuff in USD and getting paid in something else.

Just got a Jammafier ! I'm wondering what could be powered by the 5V usb port ? What's the max amp rating of it.

thinking of a rpi, mister , gbs-control for 240p downscalling ,etc.

thx

Rev 2.0 can provide more current than earlier revisions, about 1A should be OK in all cases. It's not current limited, and connected directly to the 5V input rail.
It was designed to do initial firmware upload, and to power the Retro Scaler A1 (which uses about 0.6A). RetroTink 5X is also confirmed working fine.

I believe I recall reading that the jammifier in a NC/NNC could function with the JVS link board for a jamma head to head setup. Am I dreaming?
