Naomi Kick Harness Question,

Evening,

Starting to get a Naomi cab together. My empty shell of a cabinet has Sanwa style joysticks (little white plug), With the Mobo I got a Capcom I/O. It is my understanding the jamma connection only does so many buttons. For use of 6 buttons I will need to us a Kick Harness. Is that correct.

If so do I need to get adapters to connect the kick harness to the buttons. As well as an adapter for jamma to Sanwa plug?

Any recommendation for a parts store?

I got a Capcom I/O

Yes, and since you have a Capcom I/O you'll specifically need a CPS2/3 style kick harness.

do I need to get adapters to connect the kick harness to the buttons

Buttons 4,5 and 6 be a .110 terminal (if using Japan buttons like Sanwa) on one end and CPS2/3 on the other.
Like this, only in this image they are using .187 terminal for American buttons (like Suzo-Happ).
