What's new
I saw that doom was added, but when I download the v6.1 AIO Download, I didn't see it in the list of included games once I wrote the img to a card. Wanted to make sure I'm actually downloading the latest version
You have to to go to the Wipi options and update to the latest version, it will show up after ;)

After downloading the img file you'll need to run the wipi updater from the menu. That should pull down Doom and any other updates available for the wipi.

Edit: Takosuke beat me to it ^^

I was using an old setup with LCD touchscreen, Pi3b and Naomi2 that was working flawlessly and very stable, but cumbersome to use. I am trying Wipi Netbooted 6.1.8 atm, and without a Zero Key Pic, and with the Time Hack enabled in the menu, I am getting the Naomi resetting at random time and the error 33 Getaway not found that is supposed to be due to the Timehack not being enabled. switching back to the SD card of my old setup and everything works fine. IU wonder if there is some issue with the Time hack or the setting not being picked up?
Do you have stable power to the pi? I had that happen when the pi is a little under power.

I would think so. Maybe the problem is else where. Hopefully someone else can chime in.

I’ll try adding a zero key pic when I have time, so it would not matter in the end but yeah still curious :)

Apologies - found the issue, I forgot to add the function back into DMs code after the update, simple fix, overwrite this file: /sbin/piforce/dm_netboot/netdimm/netdimm.py with the attached file, remove the .txt extension and copy over using WinSCP.

I'll make sure this is included in the next release which shouldn't be too far away.

Yay! Glad I was able to shed some light on the issue, and no worries @chunksin, mistakes happen :) Thanks for all the amazing work on this!

Hey so I trying to get this going but the pi is t broadcasting any signal. Im using a OG pi 1b (I think) and a asus ac1200 USB wifi adaptor. Thanks in advance.

I have never tried it with a pi1, just 3 and above. Are you able to log into it and see if it even sees the usb wifi adapter?

Matt

I believe it only work with pi 3b+ and newer as the code is map to use the built in wifi

Ehh doesn't matter anymore the pi is dead. Lol. Smells like something burnt up. 10 bux well spent.

I've got a Pi-2 I'd sell for 15$ shipped... Got a LCD hat/screen for it too (my old PiForce setup) I'd include for another 10$ (25$ total PM if you want it).

*Update*
Sold pending payment. :)

Hello guys, someone using OpenJVS and WiPi Netbooter? I'm currently having a little problem with Game Mappings. Games load fine but they ignore the game mapping settings. However, if i use OpenJVS Control i can "override" the control scheme with the correct one. Any ideas?

Go into "Netdimm setup (control?)" under the Setup menu and make sure the checkbox for your netdimm is checked for "openjvs".
