I am in possession of a Night Slashers PCB (DE-0397-0 With Custom 141) that was wrecked by previous attempts at repairs. I would like to understand if I can save it by purchasing a "Fighter History "pcb (DE-0395-1).
I understood that the Night Slashers PCB incorporated the Custom "141" paired with the 156 processor for the protection.
But I came across this DE-0395-1 version of the PCB (The same as Fighters History) that mounts the custom "56"
Fighters History PCB has the same custom 56 chip. At this point I am wondering how Custom 156 processor protection For Night Slashers is implemented? Maybe in the different main code? Or maybe the custom 156 incorporated a small portion of rom for the code decryption? Because it seems strange to me and I believe that custom 156 in the end are all the same ... but maybe I'm wrong ... Many Thanks.PIC :
