Long shot, but looking for an MSX T-R for a buddy of mine, the slick looking Panasonic one. His asking is about 50K yen or $500USD. Let me know if we're not the only MSX fans left in North America. Cheers!

A turbo r GT is gonna be hard to find with 50k yen unless someone gives you a very "bro" pricing for it. Don't mean to demean your WTB post, but just giving you a headsup about realistic prices in today's market.

Nah you reality bonk the post all you want, it's not for me so I get it lol. But yeah he just lost an auction that went up to like 120K yen, so...Them's the breaks on the white whale of MSX hardware.

FYI: the Panasonic FS-A1ST is also a Turbo-R and often sells for less than the GT model. They're pretty much the same computer except for extra RAM and MIDI ports.
I own and use an FS-A1ST for games and it's awesome! The flash cart I use adds additional RAM so I've never run short.

There was one boxed for 55.000 and one loose for 10.000 but this stuff is sold in seconds.
With the proxy delay, almost no chance to buy from somewhere else.
