I am looking for the patched Rom to have Gouki permanently unlocked or the Hex code to change 8)

In what way do you want this character unlocked? As selectable character or as an opponent?
For which revision? "Super Street Fighter II X: Grand Master Challenge (Japan 940311)"?
Do you need a patch for a decrypted or encrypted rom?

Ok,
Here is the patch for: "Super Street Fighter II X: Grand Master Challenge (Japan 940223)". (The patch work for Japan 940311 as well)

There is a secret input code to enable Gouki. You probably know about that already. Anyway, I changed that routine to make it little more convient to select the character.
Now you just need to push button 1 twice on the select screen. i.e you can place the cursor at any character, press button 1 to select that character, as usual. If you want
To select Gouki, press button 1 again as the plane takes off...

To make this patch you need to change 6 bytes in the rom "sfxj.03c"
Offset $e73a (9d44) = $2f2c
Offset $e962 (07d7) = $2795
Offset $e966 (b749) = $6999

*The values in the parentheses are the original values that you change.
Your file should have the CRC: A46A68FA after it's patched.

Let me know if you got any problem or have any questions about the patch.

BTW: If you want to enable "Free Play", In "system configuration". You can add this patch to the rom "sfxj.04a"

Just one weird thing that month the freeplay mode I activated it by changing an address line on the 03C Rom and it works, it's really strange ?(

I don't think there is another way to make that change in 03c than fake an US region. Because the the free play lockout is tied to the region. It's enabled for US region only.
I could do a change in 03c but that will affect many checks in the game so it will act like an US instead as the Japanese region.
 
It's AM version I patched. But you are right, If I enable "Show Ver." to the AM version, free play will be available. So there must be another routine somewhere for that free play option.
There is also a "Stop Version" option, I think that will enable a pause function to the game. If i remember it correctly...

Actually the "AM Show Ver and no longer in red but in white like the rest of the writing, but I'm still in Freeplay cool

Ah yes the pause mode would be interresans :thumbup:
 
Does it display the "Show Ver." text? It should just show AM. Because I have not enabled the show version in the patch...

Hmm, yes I could enable the pause function but I need to find a button or a button combo to use for it. As default the Service Switch is used. And that is not very handy...

yes sorry I was wrong, it displays AM, but no longer Show Ver, I found Show Ver stylish lol :thumbup:
