Replace defective MX23L12811TC Naomi cartridge with Nand Flash and Bit organization !

Hi!

Still looking for a replacement for this MX23L12811TC chip, I tested it with a Hynix HY27US08281A TSOP NAND Flash Memory

HY27US(08/16)281A Series


I took the Type - x8 device: (512 + 16 spare) Bytes HY27US08281A but it does not work, it blocks at the Capcom Logo

The MX23L12811TC has a different organization.

MX23L12811TC-10

Bit organization
- 16M x 8 (byte mode)
- 8M x 16 (word mode)

if I take the Y27US16281A with this organization x16 device: (256 + 8 spare) Words is there a chance this will work ?

I also came across your post while looking for a flash compatible with MX23L12811TC memory to convert the Naomi 171-8132B cartridge.
I was surprised that there is no flash compatible with the MX23L12811TC.
Have you found any compatible flash memory?
