I recently came across a Sega X Board (GP Rider), however it's board only. I'd like to convert that board but that's a topic for later.

Right now, I just want to power on the board and verify that it is working. However I do not have a filter board, and I can't seem to find one anywhere. I'd like to build a wiring harness to connect it to a supergun. Is there anything like that already available?

I'm currently digging through After Burner's schematics, but if anyone has a good description of the connectors, or a JAMMA solution for that board it would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

check this thread https://www.arcade-projects.com/threads/sega-after-burner-jamma-modification.13528/

and from that I made this but I'm afraid it will make you more confused ! hell I don't even understand it anymore ! :D

It's a great start.

I also found this on one of the manuals, which helps

Having some of the IO work will help too. I'm thinking once I get it all figured out, I can probably create an adapter for common double analog joysticks like Xbox, PlayStation, etc. :)

@Mrhide May I get the digikey part # for those AMP20/50 connectors?

They are not AMP but Molex ... it's what I could find at the time

The 10 pins

the 20 pins

The 60 pins one

They don't lock and don't have "a way" so you'll wonder which way to put it back if you take them out and haven't identified it some way or another
