Hello. I got this Nanao MS9-29S-E coming from a Sega Rally 2 cab that I’ve plugged to an Astro City and I’m not able to properly sync the image. The seller mentioned it did work last time it got tested (with Sega Rally 2) but I’ve no idea when it was last tested.
I’ve tried turning the HH15 pot and even though I managed to get the image to stay still, it looks like this

There are a couple of interesting facts in case they give any clues:
- Turning the HH24 pot does also alter the sync, is that normal? I’m using an MVS board for testing, so video should be 15 khz.
- I have another MS9-29S (Without the -E at the end) and it has this relay (I think it’s a relay) that the -E doesn’t. I wonder if the -E is not prepared for 15-24khz auto switching and I need to manually change some jumper or something?
This is the -E (no relay):
This is the regular MS9-29S (with relay):
Also, there’s this white cable plugged to pin CN507 on the -E and to CN506 on the regular, but only info I got when googling is that it’s related to linearity but not frequency?
Any ideas?
Thanks!
