They are adjustable. I have two as well that I use for my Chewlix and Blast City. While being able to get the height for them setup nicely for both cabinets they are not comfortable in my opinion. Took one apart after the vinyl ripped on one pretty easily and added memory foam and a new cover to help but still for anything more than a quick game and they get uncomfortable fast. My kids seem to love them though.

You'll be much happier with those. I imported a box of 5 last year, pondering grabbing a couple more from that buy since I don't have to do 5 again. I don't neeeeed them, but how often do these deal come along?

Collapsed they measure about 15" and expanded about 17".

I left the protective cover on mine as I thought the vinyl would be a bit sensitive.

Most the time I am admittedly sitting here with my son. I've got no shortage of Grey hairs, but they don't cause me any comfort issue. =]
 
If only I could get those 2p height adjustable benches with the backrest, those would be sweet.

yes I would love to be able to find at least 1 of those. Not sure how to get them though :/
