Did you check the jumpers on the B board? What PAL are you using? Some pins might look OK but a continuity test will clarify any issues.

Yes Verified the jumpers on both the V6 Asia and V7 USA setup and both were correct as for the original set of instructions, I also re-flashed the firmware just in case but despite all that the behavior was the same on both occasions. I also reverted both board sets to stock form with a infinikey and verified them both running their original games without any graphical issues. Thanks for the quick reply, both B boards had Pal Gs.
 
Make sure none of the tiny black 3 and 4 pin components have been knocked off.
 
They are all over the pcb. Tiny black boxes. They tend to get damaged if something accidentally hits the pcbs.

Maybe it got somehow corrupted. You can try to update.
as this was an older kit I did upgrade the firmware and did not soldered the key writing wire until after, maybe I used the wrong file? I know there is one specific to the old kits right?
 
Hi, had the cps2multi from saveyourgames.it since day 1 and working fine, last play was around 3weeks ago.
Fired it up tonight and got greeted with an "eeprom error" message from SSF2T New Legacy.
Reseated all the boards with no bent pins or any abnormalies from visual inspection of the boards.
Tried to flash 1944 (black screen on boot) AVP (a wall of error addresses) and lastly Choko (Ceeprom error, attached pic for reference)
How could I rectify this issue?

Any help appreciated

So I flashed the firmware specifically for the old long pin version and it made no difference. By the way I made sure my key writing wires were not connected during the flash. Still getting incomplete graphics, now I am leaning to maybe bad flash chips or bad buffers? I did pick up 20 buffers but I don't know where to start replacing. I'll post some pics before I forget I verified the jumpers with my multimeter.

Yes sir this was originally an Asian Capcom Sports Club, I even reverted it back to normal cause I thought I was going crazy and it ran perfectly with the original romset and a infinikey.
Any clue what the graphics buffers are? I got buffers but not the actual flash chips on the multi, I'll order some of those too just in case.

Well I kinda didn't feel like going one by one so I shotgunned the entire gfx buffer section and it solved the graphics thankfully. Unfortunately the sound is fucked so I am gonna go ahead and use the remaining 8 new buffers on the sound section of the multi. Thanks for the pointers so far.

Ok replaced all 8 sounds buffers and everything is crystal clear.
