I would like to get a F3 multi but I have a question about the vertical vs horizontal games
I would be using a horizontal monitor. Is there a way to rotate the vertical games to play on the horizontal monitor?
Sorry if this has been asked before or if I am dreaming :)
 
Good question, but there isn't an straightforward way to rotate OG vertical games to work on a horizontal monitor. You'd have to introduce some kind of video processor between the arcade board and the display to handle it, and the processor will add lag.

You could patch the arcade video through a PC video capture card and then rotate the desktop. The upcoming OSSC Pro upscaler might also eventually gain that functionality, but it's unknown when that hardware will release and if & when the feature would be added.
 
no, you can't play the vertical games on a horizontal monitor.

this works exactly like every other multi system in that it's simulating swapping out the real original carts. So if the original game didn't have both a horizontal and vertical option, then it wont on the multi either.

Would be great to be able to play them
