Has anybody figured out how to get sync for this freaking board on either a standard consumer CRT or heck even on an LCD via the SuperGun or SuperGun + OSSC? Any advice on settings through the OSSC or configuration would be very appreciated. It is the only Konami I own that I can’t for the life of me get a good solid sync on. Midways be damned this PCB is a B’ all the same 😝

Thanks guys,
Adam

All my Konami games (TMNT included) work great with my HAS and OSSC. Are you sure your PCB is working? Can you post your settings on the HAS and OSSC, how it's connected up, and also a screen shot of the problem?

Definitely I’ll shoot some pics in about an hour 🙏🏼👍🏼

So here are some shots of Sunset Riders. First pics are on my CRT. I’m going from the HAS 8-pin mini din through my NESRGB Scart cable to Mike Chi’s RGB2COMP adapter and component cables into the back of my Trinitron. Picture looks AMAZING! Also get the same image for Simpsons, X-Men, Golden Axe, Altered Beast, etc … haven’t tried any of my Midway titles yet because I’m assuming I will get a rolling screen but will try soon. HAS is set to CSync Buffered, 75khz and LPF set to on.

Looks like the OSSC can’t get sync with the HAS, so try changing the HAS from buffered to regenerated sync.
Shoot, I would love it if that was the fix but I I forgot to mention I tried regenerated Sync as well and unfortunately still get no sync 🤦🏼‍♂️ Thank you for the input though man 🙌🏼🙏🏼

It’s so odd too …. I research the forums and search YouTube and some people say TMNT syncs with no issues and other say they just can’t get their PCB’s to sync. Makes me wonder if there were a couple different revisions of the board and certain ones just won’t sync. Super frustrating … now if my handle was SunsetArcades or X-MenArcades I wouldn’t care so much but COME ON MAN!!! 🤣🤣🤣

You mentioned you've got the NESRGB Scart cable - perhaps try to use that cable with the OSSC instead of the HD15? I remember the OSSC was handling the CSync differently depending on the input you use (besides the AV3 requiring the TTL), but I could be remembering this wrong.

Adjusting some settings on the OSSC to get sync. Look in the HAS thread here:

https://www.arcade-projects.com/threads/home-arcade-system.332/page-64

Like, post 1,278 is one of mine with settings. If you're having trouble syncing, try something like my notes from years ago:

On OSSC the default setting for Pre/Post Coast is 1. You may have to set to something higher such as 4 to get a good sync for some games. I was able to get a sync on some games at 1 but I have read that others needed a 4 for the same game, so it could be odd tolerances between boards.
