This week I received my first full size cabinet. A Vewlix F purchased from Game Saru. The purchase was quick and great customer service. The only issue I had literally the last 30 ft of the delivery. One of the feet were broken off. Deciding on Vertical or Horizontal as the build goes. Currently going to put a Taito X3 inside.

I have started to strip down the trim and exterior parts. Also have removed the monitor. Vacuumed out, and did a quick wipe down of the cab.

The next step is to do a part list, and to start to source them out.

1. New monitor
2. Bracket or Vesa adapter.
3. 2 player panel. Ordered.
4. 2 player wire harness. Received.
5. Marquee/Art. Received
6. Level/Leg Bracket.
7. Fans
8. Lighting for inside cabinet

This is my initial list. Sure other items will appear.

Got the first new piece for the build. My 2p CP from Alberto.

I prefer loud mechanical feedback but I don’t play a lot of fighting games.

I would ask @Aurich . He runs a fighting league out of his garage and knows more about the different joysticks.

I personally prefer Stock Sanwa JLF for the stick and stock Sanwa OBSF30's for the buttons - it's just been what I've been used to all these years.

This topics been covered many times with lots of good responses / opinions:

The only true way to know is to try out a bunch of different sticks and find what works for you.

I'm using a lot of mods from Kowal on my LS-32, LS-56 and JLF's at the moment with rewarding results.
