Evening,

Just purchased a Vewlif F off Cereth. Very excited to get my hands on it. Should be delivered in a few weeks. I am initially going to put a Launch Box PC in the cabinet to get started. I have purchased a Brook Zero-Pi just to get going. Eventually may go 2 player and a Brook wireless to add a Switch and PS4.

It looks like the cab is coming with a JVS IO, a Nescica Reader (from a fast io, I think that means it is currently not usable), and a SEGA Aime control panels (?? May eventually get the 2p Vewlix CP)

The question is can I use the item linked below with the JVS IO depending on revision to make the brook work?? Very new to this.

Vewlix Console I/O V3.1 https://arthrimus.com/product/vewlix-console-i-o-v2/

The other question is the monitor included is not operable and I will have to switch it out. Once I get it on hand Ill measure it out and look for a proper replacement. How difficult is the exchange, and then if it has multi visual inputs is that preferential to kvm switch for video?? Im think HDMI CEC would power on the devices.

Thanks in advance.

First, the Arthrimus I/O adapter is sold out and has been for a long time. I built my own but it's not the best to use for a PC. Windows enumerates USB devices arbitrarily, meaning every time you reboot, player 1 and player 2 might be swapped. Also it completely replaces the JVS I/O, so that's unrelated.

For the card reader, if you just want it to light up, I think there's a connection on the JVS I/O for it.

Since it has a JVS I/O I'd recommend trying out a JVS PAC 2 for PC use instead. https://irkenlabs.com/product/jvs-pac-2/

To mount a standard PC monitor you'll need a bracket. The Hadouken arcade one is really nice. https://www.hadouken-arcade.com/products/bracket
If you have the original F monitor, you need to pull the frame off of it and drill a couple holes. You may also want to get a piece of glass to go in front of the monitor like newer Vewlix screens. The front protective layer on the F monitor is part of the LCD assembly. You might be able to pull it apart, I'm not sure.

I have a cheap bad repro 2p panel for sale if you're interested. I don't recommend it though.
