What 246/256 - options mods?

Hi guys
I have a new born that I’m feeding right now, so a bit limited on scrolling and clicking.
Sorry to be that guy…
But I have tried to read up what’s going on in this scene.

I have a tekken cab, with a 246 and a 256.
I used it for tekken 4/5
I know sometimes it has trouble reading discs.
It’s stored at back of collection due to renovation over last 2 years of my arcade space.

I want to get it out soon, and just seeing what my options are to mod.

Is there a post anywhere that explains all mods?

What multi’s?
Is there a great emulator for pc?
Can I run tekken from something other than dvd?

Sorry again if all info already here, just couldn’t find it combined together.

If you didn't have a newborn, I'd just tell you to look at all the stickied threads. Instead, I will tell you what to look for in the stickied threads. 🙂

Unfortunately,
If this is your first kid, you have about 3 months of deep naps when nothing will rouse them, so that could be a good time to build that multi-selector. And if it's your second kid, you're probably keeping the second one busy during the day while Mom is delirious from lack of sleep, so good luck!
 
It'd be really great if someone has already tried Fixel's IDE emulator with Namco 2x6 and share comments here, please.

Also, could you please point me to any documentation regarding Fixel's IDE Emulator?
