there is a short and a longer usb dongle - which one @meyerli do you have for your system, since you just have one?

My video card looks completely different from yours. It's also recapped since the first pic was made.

The dongle I have is the longer.

Guess I should dismount it again and do some better pictures for comparison. Maybe it helps... and if not, pics from arcade parts are always nice to see ;)

Here are all the components of my N2. What I notice on the instruction on top (first picture) is the only one dongle. Do those with 2 dongles have another instruction?

But - from what I am hearing from @meyerli - he is using a consumer motherboard (with no custom BIOS) and a different video card - and it *is* booting up fine?

@meyerli's game is the western Export version which looks to use stock Asrock and Asus parts, not N2. Normal rules don't apply.

Well damn - that one is awesome then, as it used stock parts which are slightly more available than the custom N2 stuff....

Good to know there is a difference!

oh and my working has this "fragile" dongle so if you were ever curious to see inside, here you go:

yup. That's a battery. What happens when it runs out?! I dont know
Did anyone find out what happens if this battery were to die? I have one that is dead

I'm getting a screen filled with boot failed, is that connected to a hard drive or dongle failed or just the wrong dongle HDD combo or another reason? I haven't had this machine working before and I just recapped the motherboard to get a display on screen.
