Not to try and talk you out of anything as you seem to know what you want, but the 37's have an awful awful picture compared to the 29's. I've had 3 pass through my hands, and they're just not that great, even after recapping and dialing it in. Any other high end monitor would serve you better. If you NEED 37" and multiscan, sure, there aren't really many other options. But if you don't absolutely need that size and those features, anything else would serve you better.
I'd REALLY recommend seeing one in person before making that sort of trade, at bare minimum.

@rewrite Thanks for your recommendation, and I have to admit I haven't seen one yet in person, but luckily in the meanwhile I found something else, an even bigger Multisync Pro Monitor, not from NEC but Mitsubishi, it is currently with a friend and getting recapped, and new fans. So actually I don't need the NEC anymore I guess.
I can also keep my Cab, and to be honest I would most probably have regret it later on, If I give it away.
