That's to get rid of the CDROM and read directly off of a SD card.
If you have a Darksoft cart, you can pretty much load all 6 disc images on the SD and SCSI2SD and call it a day.
Never have optical read errors ever again.

If you want to keep living that compact disc lyfe, so be it.
