Hello, recently I purchased 2 Sega Blast City cabs and I have been thinking of linking both of them for vs.

I was able to acquire the cables from the Sega VS kit:

but I do not have the board to buffer the video signal:

I believe it's called VPM BUFFER BD TWIN OUT N° Part: 839-0904

Is there something I can use to replace that board and is it essential to connect both cabs? The person who sold me both cables mentioned I can just connect the wires to the I/O PCB between both cabs and use a VGA splitter for VGA video signal.

Thank you and sorry for the amateurish questions (I'm a bit new to collecting cabs but I'm excited to be part of this community).

I have an extra Sega Video amplifier that I am not using. One of the VGA ports needs to be solder down to hold it in place, but it's still fully functional if you're careful. Let me know if you're interested

Thank you, I'm interested (I sent you a pm as well).

Edit: I also asked a question

I'll send you pics of the PCB when I get home later tonight so you have a better idea on how the VGA port is currently sitting.

Also if you don't mind me asking (or someone could answer me) but what exactly is the purpose of that board that is supposed to come with the Sega VS kit (VPM BUFFER BD TWIN OUT N° Part: 839-0904)?

Also would it be ok to just connect both cabs with the cables directly connected to the I/O board?

did you ever find a solution on how to connect both both cabs? I'm still looking for an alternative to the vs kit since it's so rare
