SD card holder does not hard card.

I just received my Darksoft kit and it will not holt the sd card? It makes the clock sound and then shoots it out. I have tried to put tape on it and it worked for a little bit, but now is saying it cannot read the sd card. Anyone else have this problem?
 
It s possible it is a faulty slot. I can replace it for you.
 
When it was working it started to write and stopped at 3 ***s and I had to end up turning it off. Would this of caused any problems?
 
Worked for just a second then started putting extra lines and stars. I can post a short video.

If it's not holding the card properly then it's going to cause lots of issues.

These slots can get damaged. I can replace it for you free of charge tho.
