Ho Lee Fuk, that is a lot of value.. I think that you should put a dollar amount on each part listed so people will have a better picture of how much all that equipment cost and for them to see what a deal this is..i.e the 1080p monitor alone cost $1850 shipped from Taito to USA.

Oh man, I dont want to think about it, Im gonna feel like Im losing out big time.

@Derick- Floridaboy at KLOV asked me "trade for pin" for my Vewlix..hit him up maybe he has a pin that you want. I referred him to you a few days back.

Offical Taito Jamma Kit (No longer for sale anywhere)
;( ;( ;( ;( ;( ;( ;(
Sorry buddy, I bought the last available from Taito, and another shop had one and I bought that one as well. There may be some out there somewhere. But as of now, I got the definite "no" from Taito, and that they will not be making more jamma kits for the foreseeable future.

Thanks for the headsup, Im not interested in trade, but for the right pin :D

That one website in Australia has them, but IIRC they're nearly $900.

I'm strongly considering building my own JAMMA harness that just bypasses everything and use an OSSC for upscaling and call it a day. The Taito upscaler comes up for sale often on its own, but it's the wiring my own harness that I wanted to avoid because it's super time consuming.

I think they would ordered it, which now they cant. but yeah, they had it at a ridiculous price.

The harness is the key, it would be a major pain in the ass to have to make that.

I think I priced it out at something like $60 in connectors plus on-hand wire sometime last year? But I'm awful with that kind of stuff and I'd be at it for probably two days trying to make sure every wire is the same length...

Any chance you could snag a few pics of the harness of one of them for me sometime?

When you add up all the extras included with this cab, and the fact you can get 'em all in one place...
Totally worth 5.5k! If I had the money to spend, I'd buy this thing tomorrow. Fantastic sale!

Gah I literally have $5k USD just sitting here if only in oz.

( I'm not balling, was just speculating on an AUD crash to double my money like back during the GFC days :) )

It's a hell of a deal to not have to waste time configuring one with all that good stuff.

Some of that "good stuff" like the JAMMA kit can't even be purchased from Taito anymore (aka has been discontinued).
The only way to get one is to find it inside the control panel of a used Vewlix, so pretty much not going to happen unless you import them (maybe not even then, the kit wasn't very popular as most people/arcade operators use CRT based cabs for JAMMA boards).

You also get two LCD monitors with this, I say keep the new 1080 and sell the older 720 to another Vewlix owner with a smashed screen.
How much is the older screen worth? Hard to say... I sold mine for 500$. It really depends on how bad the buyer wants it (ie if he is a Vewlix owner with a smashed screen I suspect more).

Absolutely, that's why I think the value of everything at that price is quite good. The 1080p monitor is like 1/3rd of the cost.

Wonder how much this would cost to get shipped to oz.....

Bump!!!

Also, Im willing to part the whole setup out if there is enough interest in a large majority of the items.
