I don't know what happened with this one. For like a decade it was a $150 game you could pick up anywhere. Now suddenly no one has one for sale, and WTB threads go unanswered.

I think @mastercello had one for sale a while ago? Or am I mixing people up?

I don't think there's a whole lot of love for the BrezzaSoft Crystal System out there, so unless some MAME dev gets a real weird desire to work on it one late night I don't see that changing sadly.

It's been on my radar for a long time, never picked it up though. If I see one I'll send it your way. I want it just because it's weird and I love the cyclops with the cut off horn on its head sprite. You actually appreciate the game, lol.
 
Yep. That cyclops goblin reminds me of the ones in Deathsmiles. At this point after searching high and low, I’m not disputing the price. I just don’t have those pockets... still cheaper than certain empty Cave boxes with art in ‘em :)

It’s such a cool game and deserves more love / notetiety. Mind you, I collect strange games... the fact I will offer $300-ish for a Trio the Punch is testament to that. Thanks for lookin’ out @rewrite

My apologies. I know someone was selling one a few months ago on AO, and for some reason I thought it was you.

And I totally agree it's a cool game. But I cannot see 700Eur value in it myself. I've paid silly prices just to *finally* own something after years of searching, but Crystal of Kings will never be that kind of purchase for me. I do hope you find one nice and cheap somewhere just hidden away!
 
I found the one on AO. It was from ThomasM, who I haven’t had the best experience with in the past. I wonder what it went for...

Agreed on the price, just kinda sucks having three games on the most wanted list. Two that are insanely rare (this and Gunnail) and one that is always drastically overpriced for what it is (Trio the Punch)...

The hunt will continue!

I think it was in the 500EUR range. I know I looked at it and just went "There's no way I can justify that.".

That being said, ThomasM lists high and will haggle with you, so who knows what it really went for. I know a chunk of people have had sketchy dealings with him. My one experience was okay, just really slow.
