I recently joined this sight to get more information on my newly acquired Namco System 256. I stumbled upon the Universal Dongle - which is an amazing item, whether I decide to pursue more 2x6 games from this point or not. Thanks again, brizzo - and found a really awesome community that seems to be all about sharing and helping.

I suppose I'll add a little bit of background here:
I've been actively collecting video games for about 5 years now, which I suppose is pretty late to jump into the hobby, but I started by getting everything I grew up with and a lot that I never finished. I did emulate a lot, but nothing beats holding the item in your hands and just playing in a way that gives you your nostalgia-fix. I then decided to start collecting all of certain franchises. I'm a huge Megaman X, Darius, Yu Yu Hakusho, Tekken, Soul Calibur, Dot Hack, (way more franchises) fan, so that inevitably got me into systems like Wanderswan, PC Engine, PC-FX, PC-9801, Sharp X68000, and eventually, just arcade hardware. At the moment, I just have a Big Blue Dynamo cabinet that came with X-men VS Street Fighter that I bought from a local pizza shop. I've been restoring it and adding all sorts of extra kicks too it and systems, and it may be the most fun I've had so far with the hobby.

I also collect music and movies of all formats.

I play music as well. I even have a few music projects that are incredibly outdated, but if anyone's curious they are at these links:
www.aaronharrell.bandcamp.com - Some music I originally wrote for a game I was developing in college, which I had to drop due to funds and then my HDD crashing
www.joustingwithjetplanes.bandcamp.com - My 'main' one-man-band project. Progressive rock/metal
www.venacavaband.bandcamp.com - A darker, edgier, cornier one-man-band. 7-strings and no clue how to write them at the time haha
I have another project that I'm professionally recording pretty soon that hopefully will sound a ton better than these.
I've been playing music for about 13 years now, starting with guitar. I also do all of my own writing, vocals, drums, bass, keys, and violin. Not that any of it is particularly great, but with the off-chance that someone hears something and gets inspired, I'm always looking to collab haha

I just started a youtube channel, which my only video as of this post is about Yu Yu Hakusho's various laserdisc releases in Japan. I'm a rambling, nervous, quiet mess in said video, but I do plan on adding more collection videos, and some music stuff as well.
- if you're interested.

Thanks for checking this post out, and thanks for having me here! :D

Thanks! I could always use more knowledge in this haha It's good to know more friendly people in the hobby!
Welcome buddy!! Can’t wait to see more collection videos on your channel.
Thanks for checking my stuff out! I do plan on uploading on a regular schedule when I can work out the kinks and stop being so nervous to talk to the camera haha
